Our Booking & Cancellation Policy:
Booking Policy:
We require a current credit card number and expiry date to confirm your reservation. If no credit card number is available we require a deposit to the value of one night's accommodation to be sent to us prior to arrival or direct credited to our bank account.
We do not 'hold' rooms tentatively pending confirmation.

Winter Cancellation Policy (1 July - 31 October):*
Cancellations made within 5 days of arrival will result in 1-night's tariff payable for each room booked

Early Departure: No refunds for early departure.
During ski season, we accept bookings for minimum 2-nights on weekends (Fri-Sat) and School Holidays.
Summer Cancellation Policy (1 November - 30 June): **
Cancellations made within 3 days of arrival will result in 1-night's tariff payable for each room booked.

** Group Booking and Special Events Policy:
Different cancellations policy and advance deposit may apply for group bookings (4 or more rooms) and special events bookings e.g. for Mardi Gras, Ruapehu Express and other competitions or rallies etc. Please contact us for more information.

Information collected by our web-site or booking agents:Any information supplied through on-line booking pages is only accessible by those involved with bookings. This information will not be disclosed to any other party, or used for any other purpose. This includes personal information - e.g. contact forms, requests and email addresses.
Type(s) of information that maybe required:In order to make and secure a booking at The Peaks, we will require personal information such as: name, address, contact number and a credit card number with expiry date. All are kept in a
'strictly confidential' manner. We insist our guests NOT to send credit card information in email correspondence.
Other Policies:
Communal Areas: Due to ongoing pandemic situation (Outdoor Hot-Pools, Gym, Sauna etc) may be closed at Management's discretion for everyone's safety.
Lost Key: $35 for lost keys,
Lost Property: Guests are responsible for all their personal belongings, any items of personal nature including food, alcohol, or toiletries etc. (packed or unpacked) are disposed-off soon after guest departure. If any item of high value is mistakenly left behind, it is guest's responsibility to arrange the collection.
